Introduction

Mount Jerai, also known as Gunung Jerai, is a prominent mountain located in the state of Kedah, Malaysia, near the border with Perak. It is the highest peak in Kedah, standing at 1,217 meters (3,993 feet) above sea level. Mount Jerai is a popular destination for nature lovers, hikers, and those seeking to explore the beautiful natural landscapes of Malaysia.

The mountain is part of the Jerai Range, and its lush tropical forests, rich biodiversity, and stunning views attract visitors throughout the year. The summit offers panoramic views of the surrounding area, including the Langkawi Islands to the west, the Straits of Malacca, and the flat plains of Kedah.
